Deutsche Bank is asking two members of its management board to step down ahead of a shift in the bank's leadership in May, according to people familiar with the matter.
The bank's supervisory board nominating committee will ask chief risk officer Hugo Bänziger and chief operating officer Hermann-Josef Lamberti to leave, according to these people. The move comes as Anshu Jain and Jürgen Fitschen, who will take over as co-CEO's from current chief executive Josef Ackermann at the end of May, presented their strategic plan to the nominating committee this week.
