Jürgen Fitschen, Deutsche Bank's new German chief executive, is to have a say in the annual bonuses of the firm's London-based investment bankers and has dismissed claims that the London operation is the dominant force at the bank.
Fitschen, appointed as part of Deutsche Bank's strategy to strengthen links with its home market, will move from London to Frankfurt and said that any London-based bankers dealing with the German business will follow suit.
