But the Wall Street bank’s chief executive is still not interested in the cryptocurrency

JPMorgan CEO Dimon softens tone on bitcoin

Jamie Dimon, the chairman and chief executive of JPMorgan, has pulled back from past comments calling bitcoin a “fraud”, as the cryptocurrency moves towards the financial mainstream.

In September, Dimon dismissed the currency as a fraud and said he would “fire in a second” any of the bank’s traders he caught actively buying or selling bitcoin.
