Malaysia is seeking to extradite former Goldman Sachs partner Tim Leissner, a sign that the fallout from the more-than 10-year-old 1MDB scandal isn’t over for the Wall Street giant.

Malaysia’s government submitted an extradition request for Leissner to the U.S. Justice Department last August, according to people familiar with the matter and a document reviewed by The Wall Street Journal.
