There is something magnificently democratic about the way in which Google workers around the world took collective action to protest against the company’s handling of alleged sexual misconduct and gender inequality.
Thousands of employees left notes on their desks explaining they had walked out in solidarity with other Googlers and contractors. Could that show of mutual support ever happen on Wall Street, or in the City of London?
