In the light of recent high-profile internet firm closures in the UK including Boo.com. Boxman and most recently, TheStreet.co.uk, a new report shows that 130 internet companies globally have folded since January.

Moreover, the closure rate of internet sites is accelerating: the total number of shutdowns in November is already close to October's record 21 shutdowns.
