Eurex, the Swiss-German derivatives exchange, said it had remedied a software error that led to trading being halted on Tuesday for 20 minutes.

A Eurex spokesman said the operating system error had caused problems on the exchange's trading screens. Trading was stopped at 11:40 GMT and resumed at 12:00 GMT.
