But House of Lords Committee says there is hope a deal of mutual economic interest could be struck between the UK and EU

A move to repatriate euro clearing to the eurozone because of Brexit presents a "significant risk" to both the UK and the EU economies, according to a House of Lords report.

The European Union Committee of the House of Lords said in a December 15 report that the current clearing regime provides benefits to the wider European economy by "aiding" financial stability.
