Harald Christ, the former chief executive of Weber Bank, has said he is interested in buying the German private bank from its parent, West LB, according to a report in the Financial Times Deutschland.

Christ, who resigned from Weber Bank last March after only serving as chief executive for six months, said in the report that he has found a strategic investor who would be interested in buying the bank with him. He added that the investor was already active in wealth management in Switzerland and Germany.
