Ben Whitmore, the star UK stockpicker who left Jupiter last year, has rolled out the first fund under his new asset management venture, aiming to take advantage of current low valuations in the UK equity market.

Whitmore, who set up Brickwood Asset Management with former Jupiter colleagues Claudia Ripley and Dermot Murphy, has launched the TM Brickwood UK Value fund for retail and institutional investors.
