The founder of maternity brand Seraphine has hit out at its private equity owner following the company’s collapse into administration.

French fashion entrepreneur Cécile Reinaud openly criticised Mayfair Equity Partners, calling its decision to list the company on the London Stock Exchange in 2021 “a short-sighted move driven by greed, not growth”.
