The Financial Conduct Authority has set up a dedicated team of staff looking to bring rogue crypto firms to book, Financial News has learned.

Digital asset firms have had to pass money-laundering checks from the UK’s markets watchdog since 2020. To date, around 50 firms have made the grade to show they are doing enough to stop illicit finance flowing.
