Auditors need to play their part in making sure investors trust ESG data, according to the Financial Conduct Authority’s climate lead.

The City watchdog's director of ESG, Sacha Sadan, told the City Week conference that “people need to trust” sustainability data and “we need the audit profession to help believe the numbers”.
