The Financial Conduct Authority’s director of consumer finance Roma Pearson is leaving the regulator, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Pearson took on the role in 2022, and has been at the regulator for nearly 30 years. She was previously head of retail general insurance and protection and before that head of risk advisory.
