FCA offers City companies leeway on trader call recordings while virus spreads

More and more traders are being asked to work away from main offices to help combat the spread of Covid-19

The UK market regulator will relax rules for City companies around the recording and reporting of traders’ phone conversations and transactions as more begin to work away from their usual desks because of coronavirus.

But it has warned companies they do not have a free pass because of remote-working arrangements.
