The Financial Conduct Authority has launched an investigation into whether the London Stock Exchange Group infringed competition law by preventing rivals from using the roof space of its data centre.

The City regulator is reviewing an arrangement whereby LSEG and the landlord of the LSE’s data centre building gives LSEG exclusive access to its rooftop for low-latency connectivity services radio equipment.
