FCA’s asset management study: What the City is saying

The UK's top financial watchdog has published its long-awaited verdict on the state of the UK's £7tn asset management sector, proposing a list of remedies to better protect investors.

These include the introduction of a single all-in fee that includes trading costs, a minimum of two independent directors to fund managers' boards and a possible referral of investment consultants to the UK Competition and Markets Authority.
