Directors at the Financial Conduct Authority in London could earn up to £114,000 more than their peers in regional offices under proposals to reform pay scales at the watchdog.

The FCA is looking to expand its footprint across the UK by establishing a “small presence” in Belfast and Cardiff, as well as a potential new office in Leeds, adding to its current second home in Edinburgh.
