Origin Markets, a fintech startup that wants to simplify the way money is raised in the private placement market for medium-term bonds, has teamed up with six investment banks and 20 borrowers on the introduction of the beta version of its platform.

Origin said in a January 9 statement that it wants to be a central source of information for issuers and dealers in the market, where fundraising can be more tailored to the needs of investors and borrowers.
