A former HSBC trader fired for misusing his work phone has withdrawn a tribunal claim against the bank less than a week after proceedings started.

Lawyers for Yann Adem informed a London employment tribunal on 20 January that he had dropped all claims against HSBC, where he worked as a derivatives rates trader for nine years.
