Fitch downgrades Deutsche Bank but lifts UBS

Fitch Ratings has delivered opposing diagnoses on the long-term health of Deutsche Bank and UBS — two of the most heavily restructured financial institutions since the 2008 crisis.

In a range of ratings actions on the world's biggest banks, published on Thursday, Fitch said it was downgrading Deutsche Bank to BBB+ with a stable outlook, but upgrading UBS to A+.
