The fund manager Kames Capital, which specialises in fixed income investing, has been hit by the departure of the two most senior members of its bond team.

David Roberts, head of fixed income, and Phil Milburn, head of fixed income investment strategy, have been hired by the £9.3bn fund manager Liontrust and will join its Edinburgh office in early 2018.
