The organisers of one of the biggest events on the property calendar have vowed to take action against any "inappropriate behaviour" at their conference, after the industry was thrust into the spotlight at a now infamous charity dinner.
An investigation published this week by the Financial Times alleged widespread harassment of female staff at a charity dinner organised in London by the Presidents Club, a secretive event at which all guests are male. The club has since shut down. Further reports have suggested that a number of names on the guest list, published this week by Financial News, worked in the real estate sector.
