New private equity figures reflect increased importance of dialogue with regulators and the outside world as well as the shifting economic landscape

A shifting economic landscape and the increased importance for the alternative investment industry to have dialogue with regulators and the outside world have both been reflected in this year’s FN100 list of the Most Influential people – with four new faces in the private equity category.

The new private equity figures include Dörte Höppner, secretary general of the European Private Equity and Venture Capital Association, and Vincenzo Morelli, a partner emeritus at TPG Capital and chairman of EVCA.
