The former head of the London Stock Exchange’s AIM market has been named chair of JP Jenkins, a private securities platform that has benefitted from an exodus of firms from the junior bourse.

Martin Graham, who was the LSE’s director of markets and head of AIM between 2003 and 2009, said in a statement that Britain’s stock market “is facing a moment of reckoning” and JP Jenkins could “play a key role in helping revive London’s lure as a capital market”.
