Philipp Hensler, who stood down as chief executive of Vontobel Asset Management’s US arm in May, has re-emerged as the new president and chief operating officer at Epoch Investment Partners, a $42bn US equities shop that has been making inroads into Europe.
Epoch, founded in 2004 by the former Credit Suisse executive Bill Priest, announced the hire on August 1 alongside the retirement of current COO and co-founder Timothy Taussig, who will depart at the end of this year.
