ABN Amro is hiring investment bankers to drive work in one of Europe’s most lucrative countries for dealmaking fees, as part of the Dutch bank's expansion plans outside its home market.

The bank is building out its German corporate banking unit under the leadership of Stefan Meine, who joined in January from Rothschild, and has appointed former bankers from JP Morgan, BNP Paribas and Lloyds Bank to the task.
