FSA reveals 190 staff each earn more than £100,000

Regulator gives Tiner a £65,000 performance bonus

The Financial Services Authority, revealed today that 190 of its staff each earn more than £100,000 (€150,000) a year and that the UK regulator is to pay 'special retention bonuses' to about 100 staff who deliver their objectives over a period of up to three years.

The FSA paid its chief executive John Tiner a £65,000 performance-related bonus last year helping to boost his total compensation by 14.5% to £540,242.
