The impact of the financial crisis caused long-term damage on a global level, resulting in a major loss of trust in the financial services industry. A decade later – and despite signs of recovery – our key challenges as an industry remain to better define our value and to reclaim the trust we lost. Trust, much like reputation, takes years to build but can be destroyed in an instant.
