Bfinance, a UK investment consultancy that specialises in picking fund managers, has hired a new head of private equity from Railpen, manager of the £28bn Railways Pension Scheme.

Sweta Chattopadhyay, previously a senior investment manager at Railpen, has joined as head of private equity advisory services, with a mandate to expand Bfinance’s expertise in the field.
