Germany’s DAX 30 index reopens with gain after connectivity glitch

Germany's DAX 30 index opened 0.4% higher at 12,395.55 in a delayed start on Friday, after failing to kick off trade at the usual time, MarketWatch reports.

Trading was delayed due to a connectivity issue, which prevented stable access for market participants to the trading system, a spokesperson from Deutsche Börse said.
