Gina Miller, who took Theresa May to court over Brexit, is calling for the Prime Minister to resign over what the fund manager sees as a “completely miserable” election campaign that has “squandered precious time and money”.

Miller, who launched a tactical voting initiative to support election candidates opposed to a so-called hard Brexit, said the election result should be seen as an emphatic “no vote” for that course of action.
