Goldman Sachs and Bank of America Merrill Lynch employees on a drinks break in London will now go thirsty unless they bring their own cups and bottles to work.

Goldman has done away with all paper cups and plastic cutlery at tea points in its buildings in the City as part of a push to eliminate business waste from landfills. It has also removed plastic bottles from some of its vending machines.
