Goldman Sachs and China's sovereign wealth fund are teaming up on a fund that is targeting as much as $5bn, write Chao Deng, Lingling Wei and Julie Steinberg for The Wall Street Journal.

The US bank and China Investment Corporation have agreed a co-investment partnership to help the Chinese fund invest in US manufacturing and other sectors, according to people familiar with the matter.
