Lloyd Blankfein, the chairman and chief executive of Goldman Sachs and a vocal critic of the UK's decision to leave the European Union, has admitted the economic impact of Brexit has not been as harmful as he expected.

But, the Wall Street executive warned, the worst could yet be to come.
