Goldman chief Lloyd Blankfein receives $24m in 2017

Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein got a 9% raise in 2017, making $24m in a year when the bank grew revenue and pre-tax earnings but struggled in its core trading business.

Blankfein received a cash salary of $2m — steady from 2016, when he got a pay cut — plus a cash bonus of $4.4m and the remainder in stock units whose value will depend on how Goldman does over the next few years, according to a regulatory filing Friday.
