Goldman’s Europe CEO: bank will start moving staff before Brexit

Wall Street bank to add hundreds of staff to regional bases as it begins executing its Brexit contingency plans

The head of Goldman Sachs in Europe has said the bank is ready to start executing its Brexit contingency plans - including adding "hundreds" of staff in its regional offices.

In an interview with CNBC today, Richard Gnodde, the head of Goldman Sachs International and co-chief of its investment banking division, said the bank would be "upgrading" in European countries where it already has a presence - including Germany and France.
