Duke of Westminster hires ex-Goldman investment chief

Grosvenor hires Jeffrey Weingarten – the former ex-US chief investment officer at Goldman Sachs Asset Management – as head of its third-party business

Grosvenor, the Duke of Westminster's property company, has put Jeffrey Weingarten, the former ex-US chief investment officer at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, in charge of its third-party business.

Weingarten, who led GSAM's international operations between 1991 and 1995, joined as a non-executive chairman of Grosvenor in September, following two years advising the business. He will become full-time chief executive of Grosvenor Fund Management from March, it was announced today.
