The Federation of European Securities Exchanges, the association of regulated securities and derivatives markets in Europe, has appointed Judith Hardt as its new secretary-general.

Hardt, currently secretary-general of the European Mortgage Federation, will replace Paul Arlman. He has held the Brussels-based position for six years and is now retiring with no plans for another full-time job.
