Heathrow CEO: Travellers will have be to ‘desperate and wealthy’ to fly

The costs of tests and quarantine, which kick in with stricter border enforcement measures from 15 February, will mean that travellers will have to be “desperate and wealthy” to fly, the chief executive of London's Heathrow Airport has warned.

John Holland-Kaye told Sky News that travel for many people “is just not possible” because “the cost of all the tests, the hotel quarantine, if you’re coming from one of the red countries, is just so high, plus having to quarantine for 10 days".
