The world’s largest hedge fund lobby group has called on UK regulators not to follow the US in overhauling rules for private funds.
"The Securities and Exchange Commission's unprecedented rule-making agenda will jeopardise the strength of US capital markets and the benefits alternative asset managers deliver for their investors,” Jillien Flores, the Managed Funds Association's head of global government affairs, told Financial News.
