The head of hedge funds at Henderson Global Investors has quit to join TT International, an investment firm with a low profile despite a 21-year track record of managing alternative assets.

Donald Pepper joined London-based TT last week to lead distribution of the firm's hedge funds and launch a range of regulated products, according to two people familiar with the situation.
