Hong Kong Mercantile Exchange appoints new presidents

The fledgling Asian metals exchange has added eight new members this year and is set to embark on a new phase of growth

The Hong Kong Mercantile Exchange, Asia's growing metals exchange, has today announced the appointment of two new co-presidents, as the young market moves into a new phase of growth.

Jane Wang and William Barkshire have been appointed co-presidents of HKMex with immediate effect. They replace Albert Helmig, the president and New York Mercantile Exchange veteran, who is due to retire.
