HSBC refuses to give up on TPSA mandate

HSBC is refusing to concede that it has lost its battle with Credit Suisse First Boston to win the $1bn (€1.1bn) mandate for the secondary sale of shares in Telekomunikacja Polska (TPSA), the Polish telecoms group.

The bank has appealed for a second time against the Polish Treasury's decision to appoint CSFB to manage the deal.
