ICE dealt blow in battle to keep hold of Trayport

Atlanta-based Intercontinental Exchange has been hit by another setback in its battle to keep Trayport, the energy trading software company it acquired for $650 million in December 2015.

The Competition Appeal Tribunal has upheld an order by the UK's Competition and Markets Authority that ICE should sell the firm - a demand that ICE had appealed - according to a statement late yesterday.
