Infrastructure funds defy Corbyn — but investors should be wary

The firm that bought Portsmouth Water yesterday clearly doesn't rate Jeremy Corbyn's chances of ever becoming Prime Minister. If it did, it might have decided against buying in a sector that the Labour party wants to nationalise.

But perhaps Ancala Partners, a mid-market infrastructure fund with €950m under management, should be more worried than it lets on. The investment firm declined to comment on the political risks of its deal yesterday.
