Investors are open to considering any equity capital market issue which fits their investment criteria - even initial public offerings - according to new research from UBS Warburg.
In a survey of 35 global institutional investors UBS found that 81% of investors were open to primary market opportunities. In the Swiss bank's last survey in April investors had a preference towards follow-on offerings as opposed to IPOs. The report said: "This is no longer necessarily the case if their other criteria are fulfilled."
