JPMorgan opens up high-paying investment banking jobs to school leavers

The US banking giant is opening up front-office jobs to school leavers via apprenticeships

JPMorgan is offering an alternative route into a lucrative investment banking job — a UK apprenticeship.

The US bank is rolling out a programme, which so far has been limited to finance and technology jobs, into the so-called front office, with school-leavers given an opportunity to land an advisory role. These jobs typically pay fresh graduates around £85,000 in their first year including bonuses, according to recruiters Dartmouth Partners.
