JPMorgan sent home traders on its New York trading floor after a case of Covid-19 — just days after executives at the US bank called for a larger proportion of its workforce to return to the office.

The US bank sent some equity traders home from the fifth floor of its Madison Avenue New York headquarters on 13 September after one of its employees was diagnosed with coronavirus, according to a person familiar with the matter. Bloomberg first reported the case.
