Ed Byers, a key figure during JPMorgan’s acquisition of City broker Cazenove, is retiring from the Wall Street bank after nearly four decades.

Byers is currently a vice chair of investment banking for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at JPMorgan and will step down at the end of August, according to a memo seen by Financial News.
